MorMor has been one of those names that has been appearing throughout the year, both here at TMR and across the blogosphere. Before the year’s out, the Toronto musician Seth Nyquist has given us a final single ‘Pass The Hours’ and it’s simply beautiful. It has a soft, unyielding post-Romantics feel with the steady melodies over which Nyquist’s gentle, passive voices floats shrouded in subtle reverb. That nineties alternative-rock also leans into more contemporary dream-pop thanks to the spectral synths. All in all, ‘Pass The Hours’ is an angelic, indie hit that we’d happily daydream along to. - Hannah Thacker
